Kaatza Station Museum: The Kaatza Station Museum Society was formed in 1975 when a group of interested people gathered regularly to exchange ideas and information with the goal of preserving the history of the Cowichan Lake area. In 1983 this Society opened the doors of the Kaatza Station Museum with displays and archives emphasizing logging, lumbering, railroading, mining and pioneer life.

The Cowichan Lake Marina is located in the town of Lake Cowichan providing moorage and rentals.
